Having clicked on the shop top menu “FREE CHAT SERVICE” item you should be redirected to this page:.
After clicking the image you should be redirected to the Converse.js LOGIN/ACCOUNT CREATION page.
At bottom select “Create an Account” and proceed to create your user account using all “lower-case” letters. Your full XMPP Client name will be whatever you put in the first box joined with the “@lusquan12.com” server name.
NOTE: If the username is taken then the screen will simply remain non-responsive after a second click on the button. In such a case just try another “username” or append numbers etc. after the name.
However, your LOGIN name will be ONLY the first part that you typed in the box. On completion of registration you should be logged in immediately. Once logged in if you see a spinning page load with the words “Now logging you in” best just logout using the logout icon near the top left where you see your username and profile image placeholder then login again using your username.
After you re-login simply use the left hand section to add your contacts and create your groups as normal.
Click the “CONTACTS” right hand side (person shoulder shot ) image/icon to start adding contacts.
Similarly click the plus sign on the right side where it says “GROUPCHATS” to create your groups. The full XMPP name for any group you create will have the part after the monkey-tail appended to it. For example if you create a group called “mygroup” then the resulting full XMPP name will be myname@conference.lusquan12.com. This is also shown when you click the “hamberger” menu (three bars),
Select on the left side the contact you want to text message.
The text bar is at the bottom of the screen. You also have your “smileys” simply click on the smiley icon a bit to the left side at the bottom above the text bar to open up an array of smileys and emoticons. Then click the bottom right paper plane icon to send your text message (or otherwise hit enter on your keyboard).
Simply logout as shown below of your “Converse.js” client application and return to the “Lusquan” shop top menu (https://lusquan.com) and click the “FREE CHAT SERVICE” menu.
Now this time click the JSXC image as shown on the left side.
Using the same username you used for the “Converse.js” client login type the details into the “Username” field and then provide your same password.
Then simply click on the “Connect” button below the login fields. Now you should be logged in. At first it looks a bit bare but simply follow the next step to get you started.
Simply click the shoulder-up person icon with the plus symbol next to it on the right side of the CONTACTS and when the pop-up opens fill in the XMPP/JID user ID (just as you see it in the image) which basically is the user account name with the domain appended to the end of it similar to how you see it in publicly routable email user accounts.
Towards the bottom right of the screen you should see the word “Online” and the “Hamburger” menu (three bars). Both these controls have pop-up menu’s. Click them to see their features
ONLINE: Here you can set your status and your mood
HAMBURGER MENU: Here you can ADD CONTACTS. SHOW OFFLINE CONTACTS. MUTE chatty people and also JOIN your groups.
To make that all important video call simply click the persons name in the top left bar and then on their chat window just click the video icon on their menu bar as shown in the diagram.
To exit just click “Online” and make yourself “Offline” then simply close your browser window.
