If you select the user you would like to chat direct with you can send them a private message;
Left clicking on your username also reveal a pop out menu that allows you to set your status and (If you are a moderator) MUTE the user:
In the chat window just above the name of users you can actually create text notes and share them with other users in the conference: Sort of like collaborating on a word document where multiple people can write and edit text in real-time together.
Towards the center right side of the window you have a set of tools: Clicking the arrow at the bottom of the “HAND” icon opens up the extra tools pallet form where you can create shapes and create text.
Next to where you send your message in the chat section you will find another blue button with a plus symbol in the middle of it: Clicking on it will give you the options to start a poll or Upload a presentation (such as a PDF or power-point) and the ability to share an external video.
To the top right corner of the window you will find a three dot hamburger menu. Clicking it will reveal a popup window that allows you to EXIT (LOGOUT) the conference and to make your screen FULL SCREEN MODE.
