Q2) If you have a data centre in the Third World what happens if a tyrant that is vindictive to someone with data on your servers comes into power or a stooge leader is given directives by his/her foreign bosses to censor someone with data on your servers or even to shut you down or takeover the Data Center?

THE PAY AS YOU GO PROBLEM:

Cloud investments start small, bills can grow over time and spin out of control. Any "mistake" or rogue process/core can become very expensive if there is a sudden spike in infrastructure cost overruns.

When you pay per server instance, the cost is constant — no matter whether the server is overloaded or idle. If overloaded, it may crash but that won’t increase the bill as in when you are on the cloud.

Cloud instances require constant/extensive monitoring and add layers of complexity with application upon application (some even specialized) just to ensure costs are managed efficiently. Thus, all these "cloud" bits add up over time.

Despite the fact that your data is stacked up like sardines in a can on shared hosting platforms as we are talking "folders" here and not even containers it introduces a myriad of other issues.

To make matters worse you need to know "what" you are doing. More so, due to permission restrictions you are even further compounded to use what you know to administer your site in a shared hosting situation

Then there are all these issues:

Firstly, you have limited site access and forced to work within a 3rd party control panel, while Secondly you have very serious lack of security issues, then Thirdly, You have a higher risk of Data contamination and loss. Fourthly, you are stacked in a folder/sub-folder hierarchy. All of which make shared hosting a "no go" for any sane person doing a serious business.

At each location we house a number of servers each dedicated to providing virtual private servers for a select hand-full of clients. We do not have nor even want to have the capacity to cater for the "world" as that needs to be a distributed "shared" responsibility. We even provide a special training course to help you do what we do .

Unlike others that cram as many on a server we place only ten VPS servers on a main larger server in order for each virtual server to have the best performance and resources per VPS server. There are no "upscale" or "downscale" charges nor any "penalty" or hidden costs. We know many may think we are "Crazy" for not maximizing our main servers but we beg to differ as we consider quality over quantity.

Additionally, all our servers have dual Xeon processors and come with SSD drives for speed and efficiency as well as ample RAM with no limitation (no capping) on data transfers like others do to cash in with "hidden" charges. With us What You See Is Exactly What You Get (WYSIEWYG):
